To fill out your table at a craft fair with bought in stuff?
I'm thinking a big bag of bath salts sold by the scoop and put into fancy bags. Himalayan salt crystals to drop into the bath. Sheesham boxes, bought in but with a few fancy soaps inside.
What do you think?
I'm seriously running out of stock  :(

All the things you've mentioned will compliment your range very well, lovely ideas Corrie  :buttrf: I love Himalayan salt and don't have a bath without it (big chunks of it, mmmmmm)  ;D

The bathsalts would need to be certified/SAed - so watch who you buy them from, I think straight Himalyan crystals should be OK as is.

If you're putting your soaps into the sheesham boxes there's no problem, you're simply packaging your own work.

Much depends on the attitude of the fair organiser(s) and also how you really feel about "bought in" - it can antagonise other stallholders.

I think it is a fantastic idea C and I love the selling by the scoop angle.  Brilliant!!

These are all from AW, I need some other bits from them and I got looking into other stuff....
So, if I buy their bath salts I have to have them certified? Really??!
I thought it would give a nice smell to the stall as all my soaps are wrapped, and the interactive bit could help a bit too.

You're not responsible for getting them certified - but AW (or the maker) is if they're fragranced.

Better check with AW.

Ta EJ, will check before I order. I doubt they could sell uncertified stuff in the quantity they do but its worth checking.

Sounds good Corrie -people like to have scoops and slices etc dont they at craft fairs

I think its a good idea to have loose bath salts etc, I am always tempted by big bags of stuff and scoops etc, so go for it!

Re AW and Himalayan salts - I emailed them weeks ago to check whether they had any docs for the himalayan salts, haven't had a reply yet.

Who is AW?  Have been trying to work it out for a couple of day  :clueless:  Would someone be so kind as to put ablone out of her misery and PM their proper name  ;D

I think it's a good idea Corrie but be careful as it is one thing that we wouldn't allow at craft fairs organised by MiLs. It undermines the crafter who is trying to make a living at their craft but if they sell well then there is no reason why you shouldn't get yourself certified to do bath salts etc or buy wholesale from a fresholi gal or some other crafter who is.
