Title: Roll on deos

Washed and sterilised would make ideal, no-mess oil applicators! ;)

Just dismantled a Mum, Sanex, Dove and Impulse (those last two are identical) but couldn't find a way into a Simple.

(I was surprised how much is left in even when they've been standing upside down and apparently ceased to function).

Re sterilising - I dunk and swab with isoprop or similar, suppose a Milton solution would be cheaper but I can't stand the smell.

Wonder if they'd be OK in the pressure cooker - or would the balls explode?

I wouldn't try it in a pressure cooker personally.
I trained as a body pioercer using autoclaves, and they're like giant pressure cookers. you can't put anything hollow, glass or with semi and precious stones in it. Otherwise the bits are likely to explode  :o

I use an autoclave but only for metal instruments.  A baby steamer steriliser is good but I would imagine the plastic would not take that heat.  I think is will have to be the cold water method Elaine  :)
