Title: What a price!!! Post by: andykim on July 03, 2008, 05:30:11 PM Just been in contact with the Laughton Steam Fair which is held in September. To have a 6 foot stall in the marquee it is £85. As I thought this was to much I asked about outside pitches. Thought it would be a lovely weekend. OH could take grand daughter round the show & we could sleep over in motor home....think again starting prices was £125.00 for a 28 foot pitch and our motor home is that so we would have to have a 30 foot pitch. Oh well it was worth a try. :o

It varies ALOT around here. The 'posh' places I go to like the centre of Bath, Tetbury, Stow on the Wold, Chipping Norton etc are about £40.00 a day, which I think is alot, as even though they are posh places people aren't necessarily going to spend more money! Then the best fairs I've had have been around the same area but in smaller towns and villages, where there have been quite alot of people and tables cost £10-15 a day. I wanted to do the Bath Christmas Market and applied back in April - they wanted £500 up front and then another £1000 and more in the summer.. I changed my mind there! Title: Re: What a price!!! My friend always does really well at the little crafts fairs, school and church fete types.
