Title: EO % in candles Post by: squeakyclean on November 20, 2014, 10:33:40 PM Does anyone make candles with EOs (successfully)? I read when doing my original research to use between 3 - 5% and so far I have only used 3% but it just doesn't work for me, theres no hot throw at all, so I am going to try 5% next time but I'm just curious as to what % others use? Anyone want to share :)

I'm assuming you've had no issues with flammability or anything? Like I say I'd read than you shouldn't do anything over 5% for safety reasons, so I was being cautious but if you find 6% works well I might give it a go. Just out of interest, did you decide on 6% because you were unsuccessful with smaller amounts or did you just dive in at 6%? :)
