Title: Woodwicks in glass containers Post by: beautybabe on July 07, 2014, 09:07:11 AM I made a lovely soy candle at the weekend. I used the Eco Soy CB-135 and a woodwick. After burning it for several hours it seemed to be performing well. I blew it out and trimmed the wick of any burnt bits before lighting again some time later, but the glass is now black at the edges and kinda burnt, with lots of soot now coating the wax surface.
Does anyone know if the woodwicks are only suitable for tins and not glass? I am not too sure what causes it but I hope you find an answer :buttrf: :buttrf:
