WOW what a fab site !!!! I'm very new to all of this but really looking froward to getting some great advise and ideas, I'm making my very first lip balm this weekend and i'm very excited eeeeeee x

Hi Pixie how is the lip balm going? I have gone as far as buying some flavour oil -cream soda-and i dont know what to do next , silly me although i bet there a recipe somewhere round here....oh and  welcome to the forum

i made a very basic one through the week with shea butter, beeswax, olive oil and castor oil and i put it in a lip balm tin, it turned out great i was sooooo excited ! i think i may have drove my hubby bonkers tho cos i kept running around  the living you shouting eeeeeee i made a lip balm !!!!

Does this make me sad ????

Hey, well done, congratulations! I am sure we all went a bit nuts when we made our very first product, I know I did when I made my first soap.

i was actually hyperventilating with excitement when my first soap came out ok (ish) , and sometimes the excitement boils up like steam from a kettle-there ive said it.

the flights were awful i thought we were gonna die at one point i think i may take the car next time !!!!!!

Glad you had a good time (I experienced a flight from hell - well on touchdown in the states, it did something to me that did  :egad:).  P's been a good boy (but shhhhh....  he missed you like mad  (:hug:))

the flights to dublin and home were fine but it was the flights to and from sligo (on the west coast of southern ireland) they were terrible landings.
in sligo i honestly thought he was gonna land in the sea i had to shut the blind and on then on the return flight to dublin the plane tipped sideways as it landed and it skidded for ages !

but it was worth it i got to see my little neice take her first few steps !

Oh what perfect timing.  Those 'firsts' are all so very precious aren't they?  But blink and you'll miss em so how lucky for you to be there at just the right time - bless her.  At least you are safe and well & in one peice Pixie after those awful flights  :egad:
