Sat up until 3am putting on labels. Left the house to find a flat tyre. Arrived 10 mins after the opening time. Only made £20 worth of sales. However, It was a fab venue. The organisers were wonderful. I made some very useful contacts. I gave out loads of cards and even though people were not buying at that point there was lots of interest. I got to speak to so many about the product. At the end of the day it was advertised as a vintage fair so people didn't expect skincare items. But, where else could I get that level of advertising for £20? But yes fairs can be great advertising. You might think nothing will come of it sometimes, but then find people get back to you ages after, wanting to buy something. Title: Re: First fair. I have found that even if I don't sell a lot, I always end up meeting someone who has just so much to offer in the way of advice and experience, and I feel your pain with the sitting up till 3am putting on labels, I did exactly the same for my first one!! ;) :buttrf: |
