Title: Two Uses for Plastic Bottles Post by: EJ on August 30, 2007, 08:14:17 PM 1. I use the tapered part of a plastic as a funnel for filling bath bags, easier than trying to spoon the stuff in.
2. Seen in grocer's - leave the top on the bottle and cut the body to make a shovel/scoop. I also think the bottoms of fizzy drinks bottles are a very interesting shape. This could be used as a mould for massage soap and lotion bars, both the large bottles and the single serving bottles (the smaller ones). Thanks Elaine! ;) Title: Re: Two Uses for Plastic Bottles Post by: the.fee.fairy on August 30, 2007, 09:00:42 PM I cut them in half and put them over plants to form cloches,
And, i use screw top bottles for keeping homemade wine and ginger beer in. Title: Re: Two Uses for Plastic Bottles Post by: Helen on August 30, 2007, 09:32:28 PM I saw that on Gardener's World!

I used this idea last summer, the bottom of a famous cola bottle, make the soap and it unmoulds into a pretty daisy shaped soap.
