What a lovely, friendly forum. I think I may have been bitten by the soap bug. Although I am not as talented as the rest of you on the forum, I am really keen to improve, and getting to the point that soap is taking up the majority of my thoughts! My partner has quite a stressfull job in London, and he has started to join in with my making sessions and has found it extremely relaxing. Infact, I think he could be quite talented - never thought he had an artistic bone in his body! Most of the time we find ourselves talking about 'soapy' things. I have really enjoyed reading the posts on here, and the advice given so generously by everyone is invaluable. I am generally hesitant about joining forums, but just loved the vibe on here and felt compelled to join up yesterday. Thanks for the welcome - might be sometime before we are talking fab x shall we just say they are 'coming along'! I will definitely post pics though. I am in awe at what you all make. So just post pics, it's also great to look back on and see how well you're progressing. :)

Hi Aromassa - I think I know the one you mean! I read a few posts a while back - but decided not to join in - definitely not for me. Very pleased that I found you all here. Crumbs - Scott has pointed out that I am the 1000th official member to join as well - I think this was definitely the place for me to be! I know, Lindy, no-one was more suprised than me when my OH decided he wanted to get involved. He has hands like shovels, but I am sure they will come in useful!
