Title: Preservatives & Solubisers in Room Spray Post by: Menolly on August 07, 2012, 08:52:27 AM Like someone else here (think it was you, Suzanne) I have been asked if I can do Room Sprays so I started researching recipes - I had assumed I would need a preservative as well as a solubiser and came across GeoGard Ultra and Resassol.
Has anyone here had any experience with these, please? I'd really appreciate any advice before I start hitting the shopping carts :mwaha: Title: Re: Preservatives & Solubisers in Room Spray Post by: TerrisGold on August 07, 2012, 05:40:45 PM I can't help I'm afraid, but am looking forward to your replies as I have been making some room sprays and didn't think of preservatives.............but of course if we are using water then we do need them...duh.... :buttrf: Title: Re: Preservatives & Solubisers in Room Spray Post by: Suzanne on August 07, 2012, 06:20:45 PM I think we did have a discussion somewhere, but I am not sure that there was a consensus.
I made room sprays recently and did not put preservative in them. I have bought from other companies in the past and they were not preserved. I have one for a couple of years and it is still good which is why I did not bother. I am using spring water or hydrosols depending, with EOs.
