Title: PIF's for melts? Post by: Alphya on July 03, 2012, 12:09:06 AM Do we need them? (She asks tenatively after putting 5 types of melts on her site..)
Title: Re: PIF's for melts? Post by: Honey on July 03, 2012, 09:42:57 AM Candle ones or bath ones?
Bath yes, candle no. Title: Re: PIF's for melts? Post by: Alphya on July 03, 2012, 10:40:50 AM Candle ones. Thanks! In hindsight it was a really daft question, but I'd had a little drinkie and it was a bit late ;D
Title: Re: PIF's for melts? Post by: Eire on July 03, 2012, 11:24:27 AM Just include a safety warning on label. Do not leave a lit candle unattended etc....
Eire Title: Re: PIF's for melts? Post by: Suzanne on July 03, 2012, 11:33:52 AM I think there is a bit in resources about candle warnings etc.
Title: Re: PIF's for melts? Post by: Alphya on July 03, 2012, 12:24:13 PM Thanks ladies :) I've got my safety warnings up, and on labels (which I am yet to print).
Would one of you be able to take a look at my site, I've not got pics of the melts up yet (waiting for good light!), but everything else is there, would you be able to tell me if it makes sense? :) Title: Re: PIF's for melts? Post by: EJ on July 03, 2012, 12:35:19 PM Best to keep a brief PIF - batch records (including suppliers): wax type, wick size, fragance and label example as you never know who might come back to you with some sort of complaint.
Title: Re: PIF's for melts? Post by: Alphya on July 03, 2012, 01:08:23 PM Thanks EJ, I am keeping batch info, but just wondered about MSDS :) thanks for the help x
