Title: Ruthin Produce Market Post by: EJ on June 07, 2012, 11:22:17 PM After an unsettled period re a suitable site the Market has been allocated space in a carpark.
So I'm hoping for an improvement in the weather for Saturday! (will get a pic of the new site - hopefully) Title: Re: Ruthin Produce Market Post by: Menolly on June 08, 2012, 12:03:54 AM Keeping everything x'd for Saturday for you, Elaine - I have an event on Sunday but will be indoors, which isn't really all that much good if it is too wet and nasty for folk to venture out.
Where's our summer? The solstice will be on us before we've had any sun :( Title: Re: Ruthin Produce Market Post by: Alphya on June 08, 2012, 12:05:52 AM Keeping fingers, toes, eyes, legs and everything else crossed that you have awesome weather!

Title: Re: Ruthin Produce Market Post by: Helen on June 08, 2012, 06:01:50 PM I was just half listening to the weather and I am sure it said there was going to be some 'pleasant sunny periods' tomorrow - I might have got that wrong but I so hope I haven't. Good luck EJ :buttrf:
Title: Re: Ruthin Produce Market Post by: EJ on June 09, 2012, 05:31:05 PM Today was overcast and it did try to rain a couple of times but didn't succeed.
Despite a full page feature in the local edition of the Daily Post quite a number of people did not know we were at a new site - but because it was a carpark we were seen. Not a vest footfall but takings were reasonable. Couldn't get a pic of more stalls but the stone wall sheltered most from the wind. Sue (lady in black, has cards stall) and I have laid claim to this very sheltered spot (my stall in the middle). Title: Re: Ruthin Produce Market Post by: littleheartdesigns on June 09, 2012, 05:52:11 PM Hi Elaine,
Glad your day went ok , considering it wasn't the nice summers day it should have been by now! I hope word soon gets round on the new location, I'm sure it will. Your stall looks great and it looks like you have decent space around you, not all crushed together like some stalls are :buttrf: Title: Re: Ruthin Produce Market Post by: Lindy on June 09, 2012, 07:34:16 PM I'm glad you did okay. Do they supply the stalls? I love that stone wall and you table looks wonderful!
Title: Re: Ruthin Produce Market Post by: fionab on June 09, 2012, 07:39:52 PM Really pleased that you did okay inspite of the weather. Stall looks really good.
Title: Re: Ruthin Produce Market Post by: EJ on June 09, 2012, 07:49:13 PM @ Lindy - yes, stalls are supplied and that stone wall gives goodly shelter from the prevailing winds.
Title: Re: Ruthin Produce Market Post by: Lindy on June 09, 2012, 08:36:31 PM I wish we had stuff like that here too. :mwaha:
Title: Re: Ruthin Produce Market Post by: Helen on June 10, 2012, 07:16:36 PM Looks great EJ and like Lindy said, the stone wall is a fab backdrop. Sorry it wasn't as busy as you would have hoped. I pray the next one is full of sunshine and people. At least you weren't too disappointed with sales. The stall looks great though :buttrf: :buttrf:
