Title: Help a newbie :)
Post by: littleheartdesigns on May 02, 2012, 03:12:00 AM
Hi all,
I have just joined this site and am fairly new to soapmaking, does any one have any of the following they would like to sell to me:
a crinkle soap cutter
any moulds
particularly any moulds with mini fruit shapes (looking for strawberries, blackberrys and raspberries)
In fact if you have any excess stuff I would be most interested, starting from scratch is a daunting experience
many thanks
Lin

Hi Lin,

Welcome to the forum.  Members tend to put posts of things they want to swap and trade in the 'swap and trade' board - I am not sure whether you have had a browse through those threads, but there may be something there that you are looking for.

Why not go a pop an introduction post on the 'introduce yourself' board so people can say hello to you  :)

Hi and welcome. I'm a newbie too. My local poundland has for silicon moulds in fruity shapes, I think they are for icecubes but you can maybe find something suitable

Hi again all,
Many thanks for all the welcomes and tips, I will try my local poundland for fruity moulds. I have made a few m&p and tried my first cp soap which I got the recipe off Soapqueentv, it came out really really well, I am sitting looking at it willing it to be ready :) I am going to have to learn patience being a soap maker !
Once I have worked things out I shall put some pics on for you all to have a chuckle at  :)
off now to have a good nosey round this great site.
