I was secretly hoping that you might...

I've got Orange and Lemongrass Egg Shampoo Bars, or Cherry-Coconut-Ice soap to swap.

WOW!  I've never used wax melts in a burner before.  I got mine this morning and I just loved the cute packaging.  Thank you soooo much Emma!!  I put one on about 5 minutes ago and the kitchen smells divine.  My daughter is going to love them, she loves these sorts of scents.  I will use it tomorrow in my treatment room, will make my clients feel really welcome and homely.

So thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!!  ;D

They got here!!

The block looks so pretty!

The strawberries smell lovely, but the christmas pudding...oh.my.god it has to be one of the most wonderful smells i have ever come across!! It really captures the spices and brandy butter. I want to eat it.

I'm saving using them at the moment, because i've got some Yankee ones that don't smell half as nice that i want to use first, and we're moving at some point, so they're going to bepacked ready for my new place.

I'm in love with the christmas pudding...Is that a scent from SP? Might have to go buy one if it is...

I would just like to say, from just one melt, I got a whole day's worth of wonderful frangrance.  I kept changing the tea light.  My entire house smelled wonderful.  I think I could have got another day out of it but because I wanted to use it in my treatment room and wanted my clients to also be wowed.  So I did use a new one and yes, they were indeed wowed!!

Yesterday, there was some server downtime (very frustrating I can tells ya) and it was very erratic.  This may have affected your post so I do apologise (although it was completely out of my hands  :()

Yes the melts will last hours... one chunk lasts me approx 2 weeks burnoing for around 2 hrs per day at least!

I think i sent you either relaxation fragrance or lavender & camomile!  I'm glad your clients liked them!

Hey AK!  Did the move go ok?   ;D

I still have some or Emma's melts in a drawer and I get the most amazing fragrance ooze from there every time I open it  :)

Title: Re: Wax Melt swap for soap :-)
Post by: afrokelt on November 02, 2007, 12:43:09 PM
Helen, my head is abit all over but I am not sure what move...
so you have no burnt your waxes either? ;D  I am gonna pop one in linen drawer...mmmmm
by the by...I ended up in your neck of the woods-Thurnby while in the UK...my friend lost her mum in a car crash back home, and lives in Lei with her DH and baby... so I was with her for the last 3days.
Emmag, do you use any essential oils rather than fragrance oils? Does the scent of EOs lat as long in the wax?? you know like how in cp-soap it might fade abit over time....

Oh that's so sad AK - I'm very sorry.  What an awful time for them.

I was referring to the move from Ireland (have I got this wrong- probably  :D)

I've burned most of them but I haven't got hte heart to burn the last two - the drawer smell's so good.  ;)

Hi Emmag,
just an update here...i burnt one today..the unwrapped one that smelled like baby powder...oh my word. It didn't smell very strong but was just right. I had it in the bedroom but then moved it to the sitting room.
It is such a nice scent to come in to from the cold...I can't wait to try the others now!!

Hi Emma,

I just got off the phone to my friend who I gave a melt to - She was thrilled with it!  She said that the scent just goes on and on and on.  She wants more - I pointed her in the right direction  ;)
