Title: That sinking feeling Post by: Suzanne on July 29, 2011, 07:24:14 PM I am doing an event tomorrow and am really beginning to wish I wasn't. When I agreed to do it, I had not even thought of the retail space. Now not only do I not think I have enough stock for the event, but I have just run out of ink so can't print the cigar bands. :argh:I am going to have to take the soap naked and see what happens.
Title: Re: That sinking feeling Post by: polly on July 29, 2011, 07:31:21 PM Aw Suzanne, don't panic (i know I;ve got a cheek saying that). the nake soaps will sell well - they will attract a lot of attention and the smell will lure people.
Or, you could simply wrap the soaps in ribbon, without any cigar bands? Clever use of spacing and props can disguise lack of stock ;) Title: Re: That sinking feeling Post by: Helen on July 29, 2011, 08:47:45 PM Aw sweetie, don't worry, they will do just as well I am sure.
Good luck for tomorrow :buttrf: :buttrf: Title: Re: That sinking feeling Post by: Hayley on July 29, 2011, 09:24:43 PM Good luck hope it goes ok :buttrf:
Title: Re: That sinking feeling Post by: sidewalk on July 29, 2011, 10:00:56 PM I hope it goes well for you. Remember, I think I read somewhere naked soaps sell much much more than covered soaps, make it a talking point and above all act like it was on purpose. Have fun. :)
