Hi rosie! I'm in the same boat with the not made stuff yet! Everyone here has been really nice answering my newbie questions! As a helpful tip I trawled through alot of the general discussion messgaes to pick up some useful tips!

And apparently croap means cr*p soap :-)

Hello Rosie,

A very warm welcome to the forum.  As a newbie, I feel it is only right to warn you that once you start, you WILL be addicted  ;D  I can't wait to hear about your first creations.  There are some very experienced members hear from all disciplines and I think we all tread new territory all the time when we decided to do something a bit different.  I for one have learned so very much here and its always nice to seek the opinions of others  ;)

Anyway, welcome again and I very much look forward to chatting with you around the boards  ;D

Hi there Rosie,
i am also new, and liking this forum very much. I have been enjoying m+p for a while now and was too scared to make soap from scratch, but I have been lurking for a week or so on this board in order to find out more, and have finally made my first cold process soap ( although I seem to think croap would perhaps be a better description)! Now I am off to try and find out if I did it wrong......

Hi Rosie, welcome - you will not find a friendlier nor more helpful group of people than here. Just ask and someone can point you in the right direction. Just get some recipes and start making. Once you have though, you'll become addicted - and to this site! :ghug:
