Title: First Farmers Market stall Post by: shelltilly on June 19, 2011, 03:51:36 PM It was very quiet, due to it being Fathers Day I presume, anyway, I will stick with it, it's only once a month and try to build up customer confidence, I did give loads of free mini size soaps away, hopefully they may come back and purchase next month ?? it was all food items and plants and pickles etc.

Love those little boxes your soapies are nestled in. Sorry it didn't do as well as you had hoped but you never know, after all the samples you gave away, you are bound to get some returning, paying customers come back next time for the full size ;D :buttrf:

The Farmers Market that we sometimes visit had a soap stall (which I wasn't expecting first time we went, so I didn't bring enough money for "Me" purchases). If you are there regularly, then I would think sales will increase over time - it all looks so desirable! Be careful about giving away free samples though - some people only want freebies, so they will probably hang around next time trying to get more freebies instead of buying! You don't want to be giving freebies to the same people 2 or 3 times who have no intention of buying!
