Title: Two Christmas Fairs Back-to-back Post by: EJ on November 20, 2010, 02:18:30 AM Two very different sites one in the Pavilion at Llangollen (http://www.jlfairs.co.uk/llangollen.htm)(venue of the International Eisteddfod) and one in a cattle shed! (on the site of the Rhug Estate Farm Shop (http://www.rhug.co.uk/the_shop/index.asp) 4th December and 5th December.
The advantage of the cattle shed is that there will be traditional market stalls and I can drive my jeep into the shed and unload directly onto the stall). I've not been to this one before but it's less than 2 miles down the road. I did quite well at Llangollen last year - this year Langollen Christmas Festival will also be in and around the pavilion, which may, or may not, be an advantage. I've not done a back-to-back before (or even a two day fair) so calculating stock levels is a bit of a problem.
