I like your boxes! I also like the way you've angled them ( height is good on a stall!) Your soaps are lovely and colourful too.
Things I would add are maybe some written signs (A4 sort of size) with your soap philosophy, and maybe fragrances that you do, definitely a nice large clear sign with your prices and more height. People skim the stall with their eyes always looking down if there's no height, so bring their eyes up in to it, a banner would look nice too, either behind or actually on the front of the stall. I'm really fussy about people seeing whats behind the stall too, I like it all tidied away underneath so as not to distract potential customers ( Had someone disappear behind and nosey around in my workboxes before :o ;D ) Hope this helps :buttrf:

What about the sign, as Jaq says, but in a nice picture frame? Some business cards or flyers possibly? And maybe differ the heights? Not speaking as someone who sells at markets, but as someone who buys.  Soaps looking stunning, as ever!

As a non-soaper but a buyer I think the angled boxes look great - it's neat, clean and the soaps in front are easy to relate to - as the others say, maybe a bit more signage and idea of your "ethos"...although your soaps are so beautiful you could say they were made of mink using child labour and I would probably buy them - easily blinded by beauty, me!  :mwaha:

Oh, I really like the angled trays.

I think on top of what everyone already said, I'd suggest that you cover your soaps a bit more, or don't make all of them so 'easily accessible'.  I say that because people like to put their grubby hands or snorty noses on everything that is on display...

Have a search here on the forum, there's lots of pics of table displays from members.  I do remember a really good one, from EJ a while ago, that showed really well how she created and 'camouflaged' different heights on her stall.

There was also a thread about customer's snotty noses!

I do like the angled boxes and your gorgeous soaps, with all their colours look fantastic.  I do agree that more promotional signs and other marketing material would increase interest and allows passers by to get to know what you and your products are about.  Also, something to take pick up and take away with them, so they have your name and contact details to maybe buy in future.  I do think your marketing material should reflect the lovely colours and textures you create and are known for.  Gosh, your soapies look fantastic as a collection  :buttrf:

Your stall is very nice and it shows off your lovely soaps. I agree with the others - promote who you are and about your soaps but I like how you can see all your soaps and their colours (and smell them).

I like the boxes too but there's definately something missing!
Signage is a must. Can you offer some gift wrapped or tied onto a soap dish, multibuy offers? A display of flowers, raw ingredients that you make your soap with. Some signage that gives more info about each soap?
Have a look at other stalls around you and pick up tips.
Your soaps look gorgeous all lined up there, I'm sure small changes will make a huge difference to your sales.

As per usual, your soaps are absolutely gorgeous. When height isn't used, it's easy to skim the table quickly. Even though you've used height with the boxes (which are lovely), it's still all one height and easily skimmed quickly. (only a mad person would do that wih your soaps btw) You need to create levels of height, a flow, draw the eye and keep it interested, creating a flow up and down and across your display. If you removed the middle box and used shelving display, it would add more height, a display on the cloth infront then to draw the eye down (product or marketing material). Not sure what depth you have on the table, butmore can be done with free space if boxes can be moved back a little. You take lovely pics, get a couple blown up in the printers and use behind you/table to draw the eye from the distance. Marketing material, I don't see your biz name anywhere, that is a must. Make use of simple dishes with a cloth rolled up to create a feature. Slate tile can look quite retro and can be got free from bathroom/kitchen tiles shop (if you play it right).

I think your display looks great. I would however feel sick at the thought of snots all overyour lovely soaps. Not just snots might I add perhaps some yucky folk dont wash their paws after using the toilet. YUCK. I am going to make sure I cover mine up now. I used to hate kids and people pawing at my candles when I made them.  Oh and the occasional nose stuffed right on to the candle. YUCK YUCK YUCK :mwaha:

I have a piece of each soap sitting at the front of the display and they are for people to maul and are not used for selling I then dont have issues with people handling the soaps on the holder. I am so not into wrapping to be honest only because of the shape of the soap, its a pain in the proverbial to wrap  :mwaha:

:mwaha: Lynnz - don't forget that the general public can be a bit thick at times and even with open tins with spatulas sticking out of them, I have people opening up the for sale tins and it's a balance tryin g to tell them quickly, politley but firmly not to open that one - here's the tester! before they stick their dirty fingers in them

Your soaps look great Lynnz, agree you could have some signage about- think everyone has given some really good tips.

polly- have you thought of using a small clear sticky label over the edge of the lid to seal the tin?  This is what I am going to do, will hopefully stop people opening them before buying.

Vanilla - what a brilliantly simple solution - it's going on my list!  :buttrf:

Maybe a sign that says wiff the wrong soap and you will get a slapping  :mwaha:  Nah seriously I hear you............have thought about the heat wrapping as that will just form to the soap.

Vanilla - I did think of that but I put ribbon round the sides of the tin, so the sticky tape might ruin the look of the tins But I'll be changing packaging next year cos the ribbons are annoying me so I'll keep this idea in mind  :buttrf:

Soap like yours is so much better displayed unwrapped though Lynnz, & I'm sure it attracts more people to the stall that way.  I think people handling & sniffing things is inevitable.  You just have to do your best to try & discourage them handling your sale stock too much, with things like you are doing with putting samples at the front.  (I haven't had a stall but have worked in few shops so know how people maul things & open packaging ect- it is very annoying!)

Polly - I was thinking small round labels, thought it might look better than a strip of tape.  But yes if you have ribbons around it might not look right.

I quite like packaging where the sticker on the top has tabs that go over the top and stick to the sides of the jar - it can look quite nice and you can tell no-ones opened it. More ideas for next year  :D

oh IKWYM- I like that too, but I guess you'd have to have them specially printed?  Could be expensive.  Does look good tho, worth investigating.

I thought that if you print the labels yourself, you could print the smaller strip, place over the lid and down the sides, then pop the round label over that. Should look ok if done well?

Good thinking polly!  That is a fab idea, come to think of it I think I may have seen it done like that, so yes it would work.

Love the angle of the boxes, and the different colours of the soap, but you do need more signage an hight as mentioned before...good luck on your next event... :buttrf:

Your soaps are soooooo pretty!  I love the boxes, but I think dimension would show off your beautiful soaps more.  Maybe stack one of them on another (turned upside down) and angle.  Add small tags describing the soaps and a banner (as mentioned).  You can make stairs (any size) with heavy cardboard and glue fabric or felt over them (they hold alot of soap too.  I can post the directions if you are interested).  You can also add a table top cover (over the table cloth you have), table runners (seasonal if you have them), doilies, etc. to cutesy it up :).  This time of year, I add a letter from Santa on a coiled frame... anything to make people stop  :mwaha:
