 Hello everyone
I found this site a couple of weeks ago and have posted several dumb questions already which were quickly responded to by all the lovely helpful folks on here. Thought I had better officially introduce myself. I'm a south Londoner who now lives in Somerset. I'm an artist who dabbles in everything from painting, drawing, feltmaking, home furnishings, jewellery making and now am hoping to master the art of soapmaking. I have fancied doing this for years but with working full time (yawn..) I only have spare time to dabble in all my arts and crafts. I do craft markets when I can but again not as many as I would like too due to one bouncy lurcher dog, two bouncy teenage daughters, one guinea pig, one rabbit, one fish(must get another to keep him company!) a busy messy household to look after oh yeah and the hubby, I'm certain you can all relate to this scenario. Anyway I would dearly love to make a living out of my crafts and when I have sales I do pretty well but its having the confidence and making that leap from a steady income to a not guaranteed steady income. anyway hey ho big hug to all the people I have spoken to so far on here and all the ones I have yet to meet. Group hug

I know the feeling - fortunately I'm now retired (but there's still not enough room in the house - good job most of Jones's hobbies are shed-based).
