Oh Lilli ,

i did not realise you lived so far away...surely there are herbalsits in your area that run mini workshops at reasonable rates.

I started taking people on herb walks and as they were also interested in making herbal medicines which I do on a professional basis, I thought it best to join the two...I have found through doing the workshops that people have forgotten the old practice of home remedies which I feel is important for everyone ,as it is so empowering, for those that are learning and the person that is teaching..

It is a learning curve for all involved as everyone brings there own special knowledge to the workshops...really enlightening!!!!

Perhaps if you got a small group that were interested in a course then a herbalsit would come up to your home instead of you going to a venue...that would depend on how many people were interested...I don't have more than 6-8 people unless they are students of Herb med as there is a lot of information to cover in one day....it all deepends on the subject of choice.  I still sometimes go to peoples homes if asked, I am sure there are other herbalists in your area that will do the same.
