Hello all Smiley
I am a mother of four wonderful and loving, grown-up children.
My son, the youngest – almost 21 - still lives at home; the girls are living with their partners and or
family and have a full life of their own. I enjoy it greatly when they come over for a chat, dinner or
something creative and when we get out doing “girly” things or something cultural.
We have a huge Pyrenean Mountain Dog and four cats who adopted our household, which makes
us very happy.
I am working full time and teach technical computer science at a dedicated Information,
Communication and Technology College.
I started making soap some years ago; I have been always into crafts and art. I think I am the
prototype of a DIY person. Science appeals to me too, so I dived into artisan soap making.
I promised myself I would stick to soap making and to stay away from other bath and beauty
products. Well I did not meet that promise – first, my daughters asked “couldn’t you make a cream, a
lip balm, a salve, hair conditioner” and so on, and then other people started to put pressure on me.
Yes, I could, but it would require additional studying, buying and storing of all sorts of oils, butters,
waxes, colourants and chemicals.  Roll Eyes
Well, I gave in; it turns out to be great fun and very rewarding, because people are happy with the
products I make.

I'm a member of the Dutch Soapforum and the Dish, but I think it is great to have an opportunity to
meet other European soapers. That's why I am here now, to have fun and share knowledge and ideas.

Nice to meet you  Smiley

Welcome!!! What a great introduction.

First things first, we love pictures so you have to show us things that you make, even if you think they're ugly.  Secondly, the more you post, the more boards will open up to you.

And thirdly, have fun and enjoy!
