Thought I'd better say hello to you all and thanks Elaine for tipping me the wink so to speak!  Fantastic place you have here, hope to see a lot more of you all once my head can be extracted a little further from the pre christmas rush thing.
I'm a slightly insane bath bomb maker who has been known to stray into other waters with an urge to dabble further!  Looks like this will be a fab resource, thanks for having me  Grin
Oh and I'm not at all sure that I have any of my settings set right just yet so please bear with me Roll Eyes
Take care all xx

HP Soap is NOT rough and soft!

Hello Amanda, saw your name at the bottom of the page last night.

I'm going to have a go at a few bathbombs shortly (for Child's chrissy stocking).
Mai's failsafe recipe has witch hazel for spritzing (local chemist has run out, might have some next week!).

So if you have any tips I'd be grateful.

Enjoy yourself here.

Welcome to the forum!  Hi!

I'm just about to start making lots of bath bombs for Christmas presents (waiting for supplies to arrive). I'm very interested to hear about your experiences, and to see lots of photos! My first attempt had rather mixed results (couldn't get some of them out of the moulds, and the ones my baby sister packed in went all crumbly. If in doubt, blame someone else Wink ), but they were lovely to use, although they didn't smell of much. I have rather a lot to learn!

Looking forwards to hearing lots from you, and hoping you don't need too much advice - in a hoping everything goes well for you way, rather than a stingy, don't want to help way. *Tries to stop digging* If you need advice, we will be more than happy to share with you  Grin

Hello Amanda,

A big warm welcome from me.  Ah... so Elaine tipped you off eh?  (*whispers* she's like our forum mum, keeps us all in order - now she'll call me a 'cheeky begger' Wink  :mwaha:)

Ooh!  Bath bombs.  Mai submitted a great tutorial.  I really do love the look of bath bombs (they look like big sweeties) but I'm afraid, like Abigail, mine don't turn out so good (still fizz in the bath but look a bit yuk).  Dabbling into other waters is what I do best (not always with good results) so while my comfort zone is lotion and potions, the members on here have lead me off the beaten path on more than one occasion (I can tell's ya).

Anyway, lovely to have you here and look forward to chatting with you more  Grin

I think, somehow, that Amanda may well be giving hints and tips (in certain areas at least).

You can't sneak about doing nuffink on here Amanda  Grin  Big Bro isn't a patch on this bunch.  Grin  One word of advice - never mention anything just in passing - elephant memories is probably a good description.
