Hi, i joined a while ago, but forgot i actually joined.

I'm Vicky i've been making candles for about 6 years and then started making soap about two years ago. I mostly make melt and pour, but have recently been attempting hp and hope to try cp soon.

As well as candle and soap making i'm also very busy at uni, i've just finished a post-grad psychology degree, and am now waiting to start a mental health nursing degree.

I recognise a number of you from other forums.

Well done you for juggling all those things!!  What an interesting vocation (Kes's brother and nephew as well as a couple of my friends are mental health nurses - a very admirable job indeed).

You sound a very experienced candle maker and certainly sounds like you got plenty of experience in the soap department too.  Would love to see some pics Vicky  Smiley

A warm welcome to the forum  :buttrf: :buttrf:

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone.

Yoohoo Nikki  Smiley

I'll post some pics of my candles and soaps tomorrow. I'm not posting any pictures of any of my cp or hp though, i'm still very much a beginner at that, so its nothing to look at.

Welcome Vicky  :buttrf:

This is a really friendly forum and I'm sure you'll love it here.

I work in a mental health hospital campus (but I'm not a nurse) and I see the job that nurses do and they do it very well. As Helen said, a very admirable profession.

Looking forward to pics  :buttrf:
