I was planning on making some melt and pour soap for the children at our Kid's club as gifts.
I'm not sure if I need to use the pre-certified soap base and if I need to be registered to make soap as gifts.
I just want to make sure I'm doing the right thing. Thanks for any advice.

Ooh Jen, that's a tricky one.  If you added anything to a pre-certified base, doesn't it cancel out the certification?   Undecided

did you ask this on another thread? if not someone else has asked a very similar q! elainej said something about it being ok to make for yourself or close friends, but not if it was for a group... i'm not confident in my memory, and i can't find it easily...(is there a way of getting back to threads posted to?) i am pretty sure she said that pre certified bases doesn't mean they don't need certified- they do.

i'll post a link if i find it... but what if i loose this one!  :mwaha:
