First of all, I would just like to say a big thank you to EJ for moving all the related threads to this and the other new board.  Thanks EJ!!!

CR, I think Keilly said she would do something along the lines of a tutorial - she's at Sandrigham all weekend and I know she has a really busy time up until Christmas but hopefully  Wink

Just an aside-has anyone seen CR lately? Hope she is ok!

I just wondered has anyone any recommendations for a candle making site? I want to use my trillions of excess fragrances for something, so I fancy candles or melts, although I dont know when I will get round to it. I am not au fait with all of the waxes and my last attempt at a pillar candle with parrafin wax ended up with my setting fire to the kitchen wall. Butr that was 8 years ago now so I shall brave another go. I think I fancy the soy wax though.

sue i got given a book i recommended it to joy 2 weeks ago(i cant remember the name now) and then EJ's link about is very good.

Soy wax is lovely but can be a bit unpredicatble at times.And whatever you do dont try making a deep red in it. I volonteered to make scented soy was hearts as wedding favours for my sons wedding last Oct. He wanted Black , Red and Ivory ones. Ivory was easy , black i had to mix bl and red in, the red eeeeeei think it was red and navy liquid candle colour i used in the end but he only got 1 batch of 48 as I couldnt get the same colour again. Strop
Holds fragrance beautifully though.
