Fresholi is not opposed to advertising providing it adds to or enriches the discussion and that it does not conflict with what Fresholi is trying to achieve.  Please note that posting to Craft Fairs & Events board is an effective way of advertising without having to partake in discussion.

All members should be aware that advertisments may be checked to ensure that it both add to the discussion and that it does not conflict with Fresholi, in which case such posts will be deleted.

Please note that names of firms/suppliers which are or could be in competition with Fresholi will be automatically (i.e. by software) or manually altered to abbreviations or other less obvious wording.

Please be aware that the automatic action also occurs in Private Messages.

When you are logged in, I've added an About link in the menu up above where you can find the names of various replaced entities under the acronyms label.

So you don't even have to bookmark it.   

A few vistors might find it a bit annoying that there are acronyms in place of suppliers.
But really, we didn't want The Melting Pot to become an endless mess of folks promoting their favourite suppliers, and so on....

Might seem a little Draconian to some.
But, the astute will notice that those suppliers don't even give the forum, much less Fresholi, the courtesy of an acronym on their sites.
The even more astute will also have noticed that Helen, in the interests of fairness, hasn't placed an announcement on the forum whenever she introduces a new product for more than a year now.

So, we apologise for the annoyance it might occasionally cause.
But for the sake of keeping the forum focussed on the craft as opposed to materials suppliers I think it strikes a reasonable balance.
