Thanks for all your welcoming notes.  Yes, I was tremendously excited to be able to use my own soap.  I made 12 big bars out of the first batch (roughly 1kg of oils), and distributed them to my Mum, and 4 special friends.  They have all been very complimentary, and Mum already needs another one!  I'm not so sure if I'm going to like this week's HP soap.  I made only a 500g batch this time, as in a moment of idiocy I decided to add some cinnamon, ginger and a little demerara sugar.  As a result, I have a batch of swirly brown-ish looking soap.  And I have a heavy cold at present, so I can't tell if it smells nice or not.  I have sent one to Mum for testing as she is such a willing guinea pig, and no doubt she will let me know ....  I will post some pics once I have found out where to put them.  Wink
