Hi Everyone, I am just finding my way about here.  I am a clinical aromatherapist who has been practising for 14 years and making products for friends and family for about 1 year - just going though the process of cosmetic assesments so should be up and running soon to sell to the wider public.  I currently make M&P soap, bath bombs and products like handwash, bubble bath, face and body creams etc.  The two areas I am in the middle of researching at the moment is packaging and liability insurance - any help with these issues would be very useful.  Thanks all in advance - look forward to hearing from you all.

Hi Sharon, welcome  butterflies This is a lovely friendly forum I'm sure you'll love it here.

Packaking - it's all a matter of personal preference, just be sure and keep you products in your chosen packaging for a while to see if the packaging has any adverse effects on them (probably not but you never know).

Insurance - you'll need that, a lot of us use Ian Wallace, but there are others out there, I  just don;t know who they are.

Hello Sharon,
I, and I think others here too, get my insurance from Ian Wallace.  I love Scotland, you have me thinking of planning a holiday now.   Muttley

Hi Sharon, welcome to the forum. Isn't it funny how we automatically put vowels in words where they're needed - I saw your username and immediately said 'Heartset'.  Smiley
