.... That's right, i should be at my 2 day event right now. But I'm home. It was appaling. The venue was supposed to be open from 8am, a cleaner let me in at 8.45! There was no table for me. The venue was filthy and littered with empty beer bottles from the event last night. Most of the exhibitors from yesterday didn't return today (it was actually a 3-day event but I could only do 2) including the company doing all the refreshements, because yesterday was so bad. There wasn't a scrap of advertising outside the building. The organsier decided at 9.45 that he wasn't going to start until 11am but didn't tell us that. And by 12.30am not a soul had been through the door except people setting up for this evening's fashion show. Even thought the event had been on yesterday there was still setting up activity going on through the morning. I am frankly disgusted. And so annoyed I busted a gut yesterday. On the plus side I got a full refund and I'm fully stocked and I've now got a bonus day and a half with my family as Phil took the time off to look after the girls. Needless to say I won't be back tomorrow  Roll Eyes

Ah for God's sake, that's appalling.  Put that organiser on your "no-go" list! That's dreadful.. what a pain that you killed yourself yesterday but silver lining is that you've got a day off and didn't expect it.  Hope you enjoy it and relax cos you deserve it.

Thats's dreadful!  It's good you got a refund but terrible that you spent all that time making things, organising that the girls were looked after only to be badly let down. A future organiser to avoid!

Enjoy your bonus day off tomorrow.  butterflies

Hmm, would pictures be seen as a prize? As you all love them so much? Hope so, here's some shots of the lovely family day we've had instead of the stoopid fair! Been to an open farm in the dales and had a ball!  butterflies
