Thin discs (2-4mm thick I guess) of strongly fragranced wax with a small hole in the middle of just the riight diameter for the wick to poke through- meant to lie on the surface of a standard tea light candle and convert it to a scented candle.
Minimal paskaging and wax, plus no special burners required.
Saw them today and thought I would share because I've not seen these in the UK. Have you seen them?

Never seen them. Considering how you spelt paskaging, I guess you're just back from a vino trip. Cheesy

Yes, saw them in a garden centre today and though it was a nice idea. Nifty looking little things and easy to make, I'm sure.

Ooh, that's not good. Try a lemon and honey hot toddy.

Hmm, not sure these would work too well...

They couldn't be too big or the extra wax would smother the wick. They also couldn't be too heavily fragranced or they might catch fire. So, I think they're a nice idea but I don't think they'd really have a great 'throw' or strength.

Having said that, I'd be interested in trying them Cheesy

Valid comments Kevin - The fragrance would have to be chosen carefully for this to work well and safely. There were only about 5 varieties in the shop I saw them in.

Surely the manufacturers would have thought about all of the things Kevin commented on and perfected them before they sold them in the shops?
