Hi Lindsey,
I am also quite new, but over the past week, everyone here has been so helpful and generous with their time and expertise. All the best for the lotion lift off! I was planning on doing lots of making this week as im on half term but unfortunately im still waiting for a few bits to arrive (ok...im secretly glad in a way because I can avoid the crappy mistakes and disappointments for another day or two!)

If you dont mind me asking, will you be doing a recipe you have found or have you been working on your own cream from scratch?

Hi Kat, thanks for the hello! Yes everyone here has been very helpful. I have made my face cream from scratch and tried to formulate it myself, I found a few I liked and a nyr product I like and kind of tried to work them together. I tweaked the oils and bits. I think I mostly used the basic cream lotion that swift/susan has on her blog http://swiftcraftymonkey.blogspot.com/. The formulation I used is in a post in the show and tell section here and a huge photo too!! I was a bit scared but I just took it slowly and it worked out ok, I did spend ages putting together my formulationa and researching what bits and pieces to use though.
