How do I make wax warmers? You can buy a jar full of this soft waxy type stuff that you place on a heat pad, and once melted an aroma is given off. I would love to make some for my Mam, but have no idea where to start, can you help?

Im not quite sure what these are, cos you will have to have the cupped heat pad or wax will go everuywhere. Do you mean a wax melt you put into a wax/oil burner ?

Thanks Michelle for replying, you buy the stuff already in the jars ready to place on the heat pad, I presume it's waxy, but it is soft when set, as you can poke your finger into it. I originally bought it for Mam in a graden centre, you buy it with a round heat pad, and you can buy different scents, but I haven't seeen then lately. Hence why I would like to make her some.

Hmmm, any idea who make them viv? I'd like to have a go at them!

Is the heat pad electrical?

The heat pad is electrical, and all the packaging has been removed! Tried it with a unfragranced tea light and some FO and seems to work just as well, just not as bonny as a nice glass jar, plus I think the wax takes a lot longer to heat up.
