Quoting from Wolfie

Quote
Some years ago I discovered artists quality coloured pencils and they were exactly what I wanted. My work improved dramatically. I became a founder member of the UK Coloured Pecncil Society - and discovered some of the most amazing artwork I have seen.

Child would have been interested in that society - through GCSE and A level she used coloured pencils extensively and had a GCSE A* for a work in coloured pencils although she did use various media for her A level projects (except for oils - she never took to those, preferring acrylics).

She still has a very large box of coloured pencils which is used occasionally but she doesn't have much time for artwork these days.

Nice to hear of another CP artist - it's a much under rated medium but the UKCPC (and equivalents in other countries) is doing a lot to change the perception of it. Sorry to hear your daughterhasn't the time for her art anymore - I know the feeling. But it's something she'll never lose and can return to if life allows!
