Hi , im a hairdresser looking to start yet another hobby - that i could possibly run alongside at some point - but not now as im freelance . Just up for a bit of experimenting really always been interested in science  and alternatively- green things  and self sufficancey.
Could anyone please tell me if you need to ge a safety assessment for something as simple as a bath bomb - bicarb ,citric acid few drops of lavender oil - im doing a jewellery stall in September and thought they may look pretty on the side , but as id be running it though my business i need everything to be ok .

Hello Liana,

Soap and bath products would go well with hairdressing (as well as shampoo etc.) - but unfortunately you do need a cert even for a simple bath bomb.

Take a good look round 'cos there's loads of info.

Hi Liana!!

A very warm welcome to the forum.  Ooh...  having a lovely collection of goodies at the reception desk would be just too tempting for your clients.  You will also really enjoy making them too  Wink  You may start with bath bombs but be warned, you will branch out doing other things too.  Imagine, doing a signature treatment using a lovely mix of oils, scalp massage and lovely shiny locks to finish....  ah....  such a ferapeutic experience for your clients that would really set the salon apart from the rest  Wink

Anyway, I ramble...  welcome and enjoy it here  Smiley

Hi. Like the others say I think it would compliment your business beautifully. Yes you do have to certified  ooh god I love saying that Muttley, but it could be a worth while investment.

However as Corrie says be warned ...its addictive lol
