Hello... not sure if I have done this right by starting a new topic ...
I'm Helen and moved to Ireland last year when my partner got a job here. I now have the time to develop a hobby and seeing as I love smells (you wouldn't believe some of the smells I actually like) and perfumes I thought making soaps and bath bombs would be a lovely way to play, relax and make something useful. Dying to see what you all create and share your delights and any less than perfects!

Hello Helen - starting a new topic to introduce yourself is the best way.

There's all sorts of info here and on the main Fresholi site and there are pics of people's efforts on the Show Off boards.

Enjoy yourself here!

Hya Helen, tis nice to meet you.

Be warned you will soon be addicted, but as Elaine says there is lots of useful info on here and if you have any questions just ask. Someone somewhere on here will either know or have some good pointers to get you there.

Top tip is not to buy too many Fragrance oils in the beginning. Just start with a favourite few and build it from there. (Why do I say that ..umm cos I bought lots and have some Im not that keen on and in a years time wil have to be binned)

Hi from another Helen  Grin

Lovely to have you here.  Do take some time to read through some of the threads as there's lots of info around the boards and the more you post, the more boards will open up to you  Wink

Ooh... and do have a look through the resources (main and in the community) as there is lots their too that have largely been submitted by other members (thanks to them  Smiley).

I very much look forward to chatting with you more and thanks for the intro!!

Hi and welcome! I also live in Ireland, whereabouts are you?  Do you mind me asking if you've found any Irish suppliers of soap stuff (very technical word there).

We use a lot of technical words like that here (sometimes we remember to use "proper" technical words).
