HP Soap is NOT rough and soft!

WWW
« on: March 30, 2009, 03:37:49 PM »

Posted in the crafts forum today:

I am hosting a Horse and Dog Show on Saturday 25th April in Hartley in Kent. I am looking for some stalls to enhance the area around the show ring. We are expecting around 100 people to be showing at this event and and another 100 to 200 visitors and have advertised around North Kent. We are doing this to raise funds for the Ellenor Lions Hospice and Kent Air Ambulance. There is no entry fee and we are asking any crafters who wish to sell their wares to make a donation at the end of the day.

All welcome.

Please contact me by email at lesley.stewart@kch.nhs.uk asap.

Just a small show - but one never knows and there's no set table fee.

I am still about but busy wrapping amking and packing for the craft fair just need good weather now.
I am also busy making facial cream scrub samples to send off to my assessor and have an order from a lady who has started her own business with nappies, lanolin and baby wipes etc (the traditional sort).
She wants me to make her a Yummy Mummy range which she can label and sell but it will still have my name on it. "Especially made for ..... by Essentially Soaps.
So I am away from forum a lot at the moment.
Hope everyone is well.

Raining on arrival, then the sun came out and I think I might have broken all records for the number of customers.

Elaine is close. The sum total was 3 craft stalls and 2 people who managed to walk to the top of a field to have a look. It was a disaster from start to finish.
No one came to tell us where to set up or introduce themselves.
There was no sign of anything remotely to do with Air ambulance or any other charity only the Mongol trip and evidently there was no local advertising as promised so people where not sure what time anything was happening apart from the horse events which were well organised but set in another part of the farm so not anywhere near us.
Still you live and learn.

Sorry to hear that CL, it's so annoting when you put in all that effort to set up a nice stall and the event in poorly run and organised.

Oh dear CL, that is just awful.  Sorry to hear this.  Did you have to pay for the stall?  At least you have lots of goodies all ready and packaged for the next really, REALLY busy one though  Wink
