Received this message via the website:

message: I am on the PTA for Cippenham Infant School in Slough and we are holding a findraising Pamper Evening at the school on 7th May.  I was wondering if you might be interested in having a stall on the night.

Please contact me via PM or site if you are interested and I will pass on the contact details.

Thanks

These school ones can be quite good, the parents have to go and they have to spend!

I hope it would be good for anyone who attends as a stall holder.  I stopped doing craft fairs ages ago but *might* get back to it depending on location Wink

Hate to put a damper on things but I attended my local primary school chritsmas fair in early december 08 wit my friend She had to pay £15 for stall and was also required to 'give' a gift for the raffle worth £10. The school had forgotten to advertise, ie posters in local shops n pillars  only note to parents two weeks before, out of 10 stalls there were 5 jewellery stalls . As you can imagine things did not go well. The poor Usborne books lady was £20 out of pocket sold 1 book, 2 of the handmade jewellery stalls packed up after an hour. She was selling candles and melts and sopas she had bought in and was fortunate enough to clear her costs..just Sad

So I learnt from her; check how many stalls and is there any duplication, also what is their advertising like

Yes, this is one of the reasons why I pulled out of craft fairs but just wanted to extend this invitation to others who might be interested.
