Ludlow Mediaeval Christmas Fayre is well worth a visit - there's a street market with some of the stallholders in costume, last year ther was a general craft fair just off the square and then there's the mediaeval stuff in the castle grounds.

It's the sort of fair I'd love to have a stand at (don't know what it costs though). Costume would be no problem as Costume Company UK are based down in town.

The owner was married in a nearby village and Child was a bridesmaid, they were close friends at the time.
