Hi Michaela!!!

Oh I am sooo glad you joined, I am sure you have plenty to share (being the only addict around here  whistle) and there are lots of threads that have discussed the regs etc... but you may not be able to see all of them yet (keep posting and more boards will open up to you  Wink).  Do join in the non-cosmo thread (if you fancy a giggle with the naughty lot) and it would be great to here more about the things you like to make.

Thanks for the intro and I look forward to chatting with you more  Smiley  butterflies

Hello Michaela - welcome to the Melting Pot.

You probably won't be able to see some of the boards about the legal stuff so if you need info on Safety Assessments and Certification just shout - the person who is an agent/co-ordinator of most flexible route for SA/Cert is not available at the moment but there are others.

And watch out for strange posts!!

Hi Michaela

Ooh, another one in Brighton - I'm by the Dials, where are you?  Not that I'm nosey or anything you understand  Cheesy

Hope you enjoy it here.  There's loads to learn & some giggles too.  We do get carried away sometimes but there's always the Naughty Corner  Grin

You'll get the most flexible assessment if you hang on for Sarah but if you have your recipes and ingredients sorted and perhaps a few more you'd like to try then David Munden can be very helpful.

David's details are here in Resources.

hello,
i am new to this site too, & i live in brighton & i'm from australia.......spooky Shocked Shockedyes it does seem complicated to get started but really i think the powers that be make it seem this way. you dont need to know every blahdee blah to get going & get selling. once you get yourself a saftey assessor, call trading standards & ask what is required to be labelled on packaging & then your away. maybe you should adopt out the kids for a year or 2 so you can get yourself established. better hang onto the husband you'll need him to do all the labelling hee he.  i can say this i am married & have a child who's not quite 2 yet.  hang in there you can do this!!!!!!!!!!  if you have time come so hello i'm at the upper gardner st market on saturdays & in case you didnt get my last entry that goes to you too jo in seven dials,
bye danielle
