Went pretty well. I'm not in a rush to do another one, so much preparation having it in my own house. Happy to go to someone else's though  Wink
The first pics are ones I took today as the light wasnt good last night so there was much more soap before. I took £170, which was pretty good I think.

that looks great Corrie. Did you find that the ladies prefered one type of soap over the other? Artisan versus the other one?

You can do one at my house if you like. I'll do the wine and nibbles you do the soap.  Muttley

It was definately a night of pretty soaps! Best sellers were Lady Lavender, Strawb & Cream, Bramble & Apple, Zebra. Also they seemed to like the more highly perfumed ones.
The naturally good (HP, with lovely oils, butters etc) didn't sell a single one.
My boxes didn't do well either, but I made up a few other boxes with soap of their choice and accessories. My tip, get some marble soap dishes - they sell!

It seems it was a really great way to gauge the market then C?  Without those hefty stall fees (although perhaps a little more hard work considering it was in your home).  Stunned though that you didn't sell any of the boxed ones, they are just gorgeous.  Any thoughts as to why?  They are clearly beautiful.

Maybe people weren't thinking about Xmas yet?! Most people were buying for themselves. The boxes are £16, I didn't think that was too high, there's a lot of work in them.
