I think it's when the householders put up scarecrows in their gardens/on their houses for judging - someties they can be on a show field.

Our village put Scarecrows through the high street. Houses, shops, Garages all join in. Even the fire station have a scarecrow & an open day. There is a Farmers market bouncy castle craft fair etc.
Great weekend.

The weekend was a great success weather lovely crowds of people most of them I knew & they were most surprised to see my stall looking so professional.
Will post some pic's later.
Had many customers come back to me from the school fair that I did at beginning of July asking for more..
Had to hurry back Saturday evening & make more body butter as I sold out?
Also just sold some items on ebay so at least people are getting to my shop there. I put some items that we needed to sell from home on my shop site as it makes  people aware of my shop then.
Still trying to get my head round this web building.
off to  Pot now, both cakes & croaping.

Goodluck Kim.

They have lots of money in that part of the world so you should do well. And your products are really reasonably priced & lovely.  I will pray for it to be good weather (especially on saturday), not a good prediction  Bawl...I'll be out there too doing a market.
