Tried posting this previously, but the video wasn't complete.  Anyway, I found an alternative.  I was watching Discovery's How Do They Do It?  this morning and was fascinated by this.  I was surprised how easy (well I say easy, you'd have to have year of priactise no doubt, but the lady made it look easy) and thought it was quite inspirational for candle makers...

There used to be a place in or near Chester where you could go and watch (long time ago can't quite remember where). I would not have the nerve or the patience. Beautiful though.

My mom is wanting to try her hand at that.  She has all the equipment so it's just a matter of when.  She even has the book that teaches you how....  I love those..

I saw that too!  I was mesmerised watching that candle being carved and I loved the little mushroom candle they made with the offcuts  butterflies
