I had a fantstic day today at the Filey Sea Cadet Fundraiser. I hadn't expected much as it hadn't been widely advertised and even the organisers weren't too hopeful, but the weather was with us and we were out in one of Filey's beautiful parks. There was a good consistent crowd and miracle of miracles they actually wanted to but my stuff!  Happy Bounce

I took 3 times more than I had hoped for and again as it was a local event got some interest in my aromatherapy!

And my lovely dad has made me some wooden shelves for my stall. He's not big on DIY and therefore exceptionally proud of his work!

Glad you did well, and good on your Dad for the shelves.

Lovely looking stall - I just bought some of those islepack window bags!

And your soaps look lovely.

Well I just passed on your many compliments on my dad's shelves (we went out for a post-fair dinner as tradition requires) and he has confessed to their hidden wonkiness. One side has extra felt feet to balance. He insists it's an inbuilt flaw in the wood however!

I'm pleased you like the set up - I feel like it's starting to get there. I have Fangfest next week so we'll see how I fare next to other proper crafty folk!

I'm never going to be able to stop tittering at Fangfest. It really ought to be on October 31st.  Muttley
