...or at least not tipping it down like it is now.

Weather-permitting, tomorrow afternoon I'm taking my wares to that little village show. We scouted it out last week, and the venue is tiny (we're supposed to set up in the little car park) and there are only about 3 houses in the village. However, this is the 27th annual show, so presumably someone goes to it!

I'm not too worried about making sales, but I really really want to see the winning tallest weed!   Shocked

It's only on for 2 hours, so let's hope for a break in the torrential downpour!

I will try! Of course in the unlikely event that I'm rushed off my feet with customers, I may not manage to see the fabled weed...

Yeay! The weather held up and we did much better sales-wise than I had expected. Stil not enough for a holiday home in the South of France (£24.50) but for a show costing only £5 and lasting a mere 2 hours thought that wasn't bad.

And finally... the results you've all been wating for...
The winner of the 27th Annual Staintondale & Distict Tallest Weed award goes to...

A 7ft giant thistle thing. It didn't have a name. Picture below.

Glad you didn't get rained off!

The thistley thing is a teazel - I suppose it could be called a weed if it were in the wrong place.
