I have a fair tomorrow in Edinburgh and am soon going to stay with inlaws in Cumbernauld as it is easier to get to Edinburgh from there in the morning.

When I booked, i didn;t take the Edniburgh fetival into account, so I'm not expecting too much as I expect many people to be having a nosy on the 1st weekend of the fair. It is the Makers Market fairs and although I;ve not done these in Edinburgh before, I know they are well attended and have regulars so it might be ok.

I will have hubby there with me though and he always looks soooo bored. I've told him to enjoy the day in Edinburgh (the fair in a few miles away from the centre and easily walkable on a nice day).

Even though I'm not expecting much, I'm actually looking forward to this fair. I'll update tomorrow

Good luck! I'm sure the fact that the festival is on will bring lots of people to town, regardless of weather they're attending the festival or not.

That seems to be a common theme! My parents come and are really helpful, hubby completely useless and disinterested!

I hope it goes well!
