Hi Guys!  I've just joined this forum.  I'm currently doing loads of research about going about legally selling lip balms and bath things that I have been playing around with!  Very interested in the safety assessment side of it at the mo.  Can anyone advise exactly what will happen with the assessment?  Do I have to tell the assessor what I'm making etc and how? What if I decide to juggle the recipe a bit? i.e. decide to add a bit more beeswax to make my lip balms a bit harder for summer or softer for winter? Will the assessment still cover those changes?

Sorry to jump straight in asking things!!   Grin  Looking forward to chatting with you soon!

Hell and welcome aboard the forum!

As Eva said take a look at Scott's website - he has mini-starter SAs for such as lip-balms and bath products and they're flexible within a given range of ingredients (i.e. you can vary the amounts).

Then you can upgrade at a later date.

Lots of info on the forum - get yourself up to 50 posts and you'll be able to see a few more boards.
