Was feeling a little bad at not having gone to Sunday's event. I called the organiser for a catch up today, I stand with them a lot and wanted to check I hadn't blotted my copybook (I did text and cancel, but still). I totally made the right decision, only half a dozen stall holders made it. The organsier couldn't even get there and the footfall was appalling. Anyway, they've decided to refund everyone's money. Hooray, that's a bonus I wasn't expecting. All ended well.

That is a wee bonus as you say, and you kepy yourself right by letting them know in advance. Good decision on your part to cancel.

I keep wondering about the two back to back I'm booked in for this weekend - we've had just 3 or 4 inches of snow so far but there's a possibility of more during the week.

The Saturday one, in Llangollen pavilion, is on council property and tied in with Llangollen Christmas Festival this year. Given the way LA H&S make decisions it's anyone's guess what may happen (or not happen).

In any case if we do have a dollop of snow and frost the first 100yds can cause me severe problems - let alone the next bit of road down to a B road.

I think in this weather I reckon its wiser to cancel.  Surely on a H & S thing the organisers would be cancelling it anyway?  But customers are not going to venture out.  Look at me in Devon, no snow but as soon as the tempdrops to less than 3 degrees they all stay at home, and that is with no snow.

That worked out well. That's good. There's nothing worse than a bad day at the fair.
