Well I have been reading and reading for far too long now and I thought it was time to jump in and say hello. This seems like such a great forum and very friendly.
Anyway, I am originally from the states but now live in Shetland. After many years saying I was going to do my own cosmetics in particular lotions, and lip treats, I have finally decided to take the plunge.

I am lucky to have a little first hand knowledge already as my stepmother has been making organic, lotions and lip balms for years. She has really encourage me to give it a go and even shared some of her favorite recipes.

So here I am looking forward to learning alot more, getting to know some new people and creating all sorts of things. And yes once I have something other than snow to post pictures of, I will  Cheesy

Have you made anything as yet? What sort of things are you particularly interested in?
